Hello, let me introduce you to coaching.

Coaching is a transformative process that can work for anyone; from artists to curators, and from directors to managers and anyone in senior leadership roles. You might work for yourself or in a gallery, museum or other kind of art organization, a nonprofit or corporate institution or company. Whatever you do, engaging a coach can help you get further with your work. If you have had experience of coaching, you know what it can do for you; and if not, why not give it a try?
I discovered the benefits of working with a coach when I found myself seeking someone I could talk with in complete confidence; not my team or my boss nor my stakeholders or my clients, someone separate who would have only my needs and growth in mind. I wanted a professional friend; someone to listen to me, ask me what I really needed, help me think deeply about my issues and reflect my thoughts back to me. Someone to help me face and overcome hard challenges, help me make plans to meet my goals, manage my team and my time better, grow in confidence and become the leader I aspired to be.
Coaching was the answer! Since then I have always looked for a coach when I need to and I have taken a coaching approach to managing and working with others. With my experience of leadership and management, combined with my Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance training and accreditation from Rutgers University, I now offer coaching services to support a diverse range of people.
With a career built on curatorial work with artists, art organizations and public companies, my focus is the cultural sector, nonprofits, women, the LGBTQ community and areas where I see a need for increased availability of coaching. I work with people at any career stage who want to be able take a bold and confident approach to every issue they face. Work with me and, together, we will design and build a plan for your growth and progression; we will improve your ability to tackle change; we will put effective strategies in place to achieve your objectives. We will identify your core value-system and what you truly want; we will fathom your strengths and key areas for development, and you will boost your performance, make plans you will commit to and maximise your success.
Coaching can help to get a new perspective on almost any complication. For example, when even routine tasks feel like road blocks, or when work or life situations seem too complicated to resolve; or when you feel like you are stuck in a puzzle or a loop you can’t get out of. Perhaps you want something to shift: a promotion, a new job or even a change of career, but you just can’t get out of the starting gate and procrastinate instead of taking the first step.
Coaching can help with all of these difficulties; it can help remove the barriers they represent for a clear way forward. As your coach I can be the ‘professional friend’ you can completely trust to work with and, through structured, practical discussion get beyond your frustrations. Our work together will take you from uncertainty to feeling grounded and confident. Through focussed, sometimes tough, conversations you will start to gain clarity, overcome obstacles, feel strong on your feet and make real progress.

Don’t take my word for it! Here are some testimonials from people I’ve worked with as their coach.
C. These conversations have been incredibly valuable. The most significant shift I’ve noticed is that I’m becoming more intentional about creating boundaries and sustainable structures—not just for myself, but for the entire team. I feel like I’m moving from a reactive mode to a more strategic one, where I can step back and see patterns rather than just responding to immediate demands.
E. I think the process has helped me tremendously. I think of it as a ‘disentangling’ — a pulling apart of the threads that felt knotted in my being for so long. I feel by talking through things with you, I am more focused on seeing my life in a more positive light, and the areas of my life and work don’t feel so conflicted. I think for me, there is this real need to have a witness to these inner struggles that can take them seriously, while also redirecting the energy. You’ve been wonderful at this Tamsin, so generous and sensitive, but also helping me focus on what can be done.
J. Working with Tamsin has brought me a fresh perspective on some of the challenges I’m facing at work. I’ve found that her background in a completely different field than mine is actually a significant value-add. She thinks about both the big picture and fine details. Perhaps more than anything – I never feel that I’m being judged to choose between “right” or “wrong” when we are working through a challenge together. Tamsin brings a real lightness to the work that she does.
K. Working with Tamsin has been such a powerful experience for me. From the very first session, she created a space that feels safe, supportive, and incredibly easy to open up in. I’ve had several coaching sessions with her, and every single time I leave feeling energized, motivated, and more accountable to myself. Our conversations are always productive and meaningful, and she has a way of helping me see my own potential more clearly. I genuinely walk away feeling like I can conquer my goals. I’m so grateful for the space she holds and the impact she’s had on my growth.
